BLUSH ACADEMY

Course Booking Terms.

Last updated: 19 October 2026.

Business: Blush Academy, operated by Chloe Burns.

Website: www.blushacademy.co.uk

These terms apply to training booked with Blush Academy. They form the contract between Blush Academy and the person making the booking, together with the information shown on the relevant course page, checkout, booking confirmation and our Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy.

1. Booking and contract formation

A training place is not secured by an enquiry or by adding a course to a basket. A booking is confirmed when the required payment has been successfully received and Blush Academy issues an order or booking confirmation. We may contact you if information is incomplete or if there is an obvious pricing, date or availability error.

2. Course information

The course listing states the training method, date, time, location, capacity, price and included materials. Standard training days are generally 10am to 5pm and group training may accommodate up to eight students unless the individual course listing states otherwise.

The beginner hair-extension programme covers Nano, Tiny Tip and Tape methods. Other programmes, masterclasses and beauty courses are governed by their own published course details.

3. Prices, deposits and balances

Prices are shown in pounds sterling. Where a 60% deposit option is offered, the remaining 40% must be paid before the training session begins. Failure to pay an outstanding balance before training starts may result in the place being treated as cancelled, subject to the cancellation rules and your statutory rights.

Where Klarna, Clearpay or another payment provider is offered, your finance or instalment arrangement is between you and that provider under its terms. Your training contract remains with Blush Academy. Refunds approved by Blush Academy are returned through the original payment route and may then be administered by the payment provider.

4. Distance-booking cancellation rights

If you are a consumer and book online, by telephone or otherwise at a distance, you will normally have a legal right to cancel the service contract within 14 days after the day the contract is entered into.

If your training is due to begin during that 14-day cancellation period, we will require your express request for the service to begin during the cancellation period. If you then cancel after part of the service has been supplied, we may charge a proportionate amount for the service already provided. If the service has been fully performed during the cancellation period following your express request and acknowledgement, the statutory cancellation right may end once performance is complete.

Nothing in these terms removes any statutory cancellation right that applies to your booking.

5. One-to-one and live-model training

Where available, one-to-one tuition is charged at 30% above the standard group-training price. An optional additional live-model day may be offered separately. The price and arrangements for any additional day are confirmed before payment.

6. Training kits and materials

Where included in the course listing, training resources may include manuals, threads, beads for the relevant methods, tape pads, tape spray, pliers, combs, brushes, clips and other practical items. Items supplied can vary where an equivalent professional product is substituted.

7. Attendance and conduct

You must provide accurate enrolment information, arrive at the stated time, follow reasonable health, safety, hygiene and practical instructions, treat other students, models and staff respectfully and avoid conduct that disrupts or makes training unsafe.

Blush Academy may require a student to leave where there is serious unsafe, abusive, discriminatory or disruptive conduct. Any resulting payment or refund decision will be made fairly, taking account of the circumstances, services already supplied and applicable consumer law.

8. Access and learning requirements

Please tell us as early as possible about access or learning requirements relevant to the course so we can discuss reasonable arrangements. We will handle related personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

9. Assessment, case studies and certification

Course completion may require theory and practical assessment plus two follow-up case studies. Attendance alone does not guarantee a certificate. Certification is issued when the published requirements for the course have been satisfactorily completed.

Hair-extension training delivered by Blush Academy is ABT accredited. Relevant accreditation information is shown with the applicable programme where appropriate.

Professional membership, employment, insurance and local licensing requirements are controlled by third parties and can change. Students are responsible for checking that a course meets the requirements of their intended insurer, employer or professional activity.

10. Models, photographs and video

Where a live model is used, the model must meet any suitability and consent requirements communicated for the session. Student or model photographs and video are not used for Academy marketing without the appropriate permission.

11. Course changes

We may make reasonable changes to teaching order, equipment, training materials or educator arrangements where this does not materially reduce the course you purchased. If a material change affects the essential nature of the booking, we will offer an appropriate alternative, transfer or refund in line with your legal rights.

12. Liability and professional practice

Training is designed to teach professional techniques and safe working practices. After training, each student is responsible for working within their competence, following manufacturer guidance, maintaining appropriate insurance and complying with professional and legal requirements relevant to their own business.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or statutory consumer rights.

13. Problems and complaints

If a problem arises, contact us promptly so we can try to resolve it. Our Complaints Procedure explains how complaints are handled.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Consumers retain any mandatory rights available to them under applicable law.
